Sugar Spice's Cami Top Layering Technique

First introduced in January 2025.

We proudly launched our very first piece featuring our signature layering technique.

Shizuka, our founder, spent two years as a beginner ballerina. Driven by her passion, she dreamed of bringing the grace of ballet outfits into everyday wear.

Cami tops are one of the most beloved items in coquette aesthetics. To offer more versatility and comfort, Shizuka introduced our Sugar Spice’s layering technique—bringing the concept of layered cami tops to life.

With this innovation, each piece can be worn in multiple ways: with added layers for more coverage, or with optional pads for better support and protection.

Our first creations, the Cece Cami and Lila Cami, featured a mid-layer design positioned at the center of the top. In our latest collections, this layer has been thoughtfully extended for enhanced style and comfort.

Though this improvement is subtle, it gives you more freedom to wear your cami however you like. We value your comfort and personal expression above all.

Shizuka’s vision has always been simple — to help women feel confident and at ease wearing skin-revealing pieces, even when they prefer to wear nothing underneath.
